I have blocked certain phone call numbers on the iPhone but for some reason the blocked callers are still getting through and leaving answer phone messages. I have used T-Mobile, O2 and Vodaphone which are very easy. I have to say ID messages are shockingly bad had I known this was the case I would never have signed up to use this service. Why are blocked calls going to answer phone this is ridiculous?

We are sorry to hear that you are receiving spam calls.
We're unable to block numbers at a network level. You may be able to do this from your handset settings.
Have you tried calling the number and asking to be removed from their calling list?

I’m having the same problem. Why can’t iD block the number, so they can’t leave a voicemail?
other networks can do this.

The block would stock the number showing on the device but wouldn’t block it on the network level meaning that voicemails can still be sent.
I would advise checking your blocked number settings to see if this can be changed.
