Hello, I have noticed that for the past few months that I have been charged for two separate contracts. One is for my currently active contract, and the other is for an old one which was closed within the last 6 months.
I am still being charged for a closed account. Can I just cancel the Direct Debit from my end? And am I able to get a refund?

I’d advise against cancelling the direct debit (DD)Â
Cancelling the DD ends the automatic payment method for the given account, meaning the account could fall into arrears. iD would then mark the missed payments on your credit file, and pass the arrears to a debt collection agency.
