I can't make calls but still can use data network

I have a Redmi note 8 pro phone. I tried to call today but it doesn't go through, everything is fine with the bill (paid etc.) I can still use the internet (data network), but I can't make calls. I'm in network coverage, the same place the network has always been before. In the SIM card settings of the phone, the preferred network type is LTE. what's wrong?

I’m sorry to hear that, what happens when you try to make the call? Do you get an error?

 

How are texts?

 

It’s worth noting that the Redmi Note 8 Pro is not an officially supported device on iD Mobile, you may have issues with services when using one with our SIM cards.

I still can't make calls since 1 pm yesterday

Mine does not do voice calls since yesterday midday. The mobile is compatible, text messaging works and I have not changed any settings. Did the “off-on” more often than I can remember, tried SIM in a different mobile to no avail and had another provider’s SIM working fine in my handset. iD/3UK said at 7am it’s fixed, but evidently not for every customer!

I've just restarted my phone and everything seems to be ok again thanks

A network wide issue was identified and we can advise 3UK have confirmed that services are now fully back to normal, apart from some localised issues related to Storm Éowyn.
