Hi @Weria,

Welcome to the Community!
Sorry to hear that.

If your data is working it will mean that your SIM is active.

The article below will hopefully help resolve your issue but please let us know if you still require assistance.

Hi @Weria

Have you recently ported over your number from another network? If so, have you had the ‘Welcome to iD Mobile’ email/text to tell you that it was successful?
The iD web site advises number transfers take place between 8am - 6pm, on the transfer day

If you’ve been with iD Mobile for a while…….

 What phone do you have?

Have you checked the coverage for your area?
https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/coverage

Has the 3G signal been turned off in your area recently?

Is your handset on the approved list?
https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/approved-handsets

Can you still use your data and send/receive texts?

Do you have VoLTE (Voice over LTE) enabled on your phone as you need this to connect to the LTE (4G) network?

You could also try requesting a replacement SIM as this could be the problem.
Please be aware that your account will be put on hold (you will be unable to use that number) until the new SIM has been activated.

There are a few different ways to get a replacement SIM. Here’s everything you need to know:

How do I get a replacement SIM?

If your SIM card doesn't fit your phone, or it's been lost or stolen, you’ll need a replacement. To get a replacement SIM card, you can:

  • Visit any Currys store.

Find your nearest store and head to the ‘Mobile’ section. One of our helpful Tech Experts will issue you a replacement SIM card.

  • Chat to us.

Our Live Chat team are able to issue you a replacement SIM card, which will be sent in the post to the account holder’s address.

Once you receive your replacement SIM card, you’ll need to activate it. Check out the steps in the article below:

Let us know how you get on x

Hi,

No I have not ported my number. I bought this Sim from online and then I received a message from ID saying (welcome to iD! Your line is active and your number is ). Please is is possible to activate my number? The Internet is working I don't have any issue with it, it's only my number, it doesn't work. Thanks for your help

Hi @Weria

Please let us know what  phone you have so that we can better help you.
Can you also check that you have VoLTE enabled as this is needed to make/receive calls. Sending/receiving texts and using data will work without VoLTE so you need to check your settings to ensure it is enabled for calls.
