Hi @Andrew123567,

Welcome to the Community!

Have you upgraded your contract?

Which make and model are you using?

It sounds like it may be an issue with your iMessage/RCS chat settings.

Got new phone, everything works except I can't make or receive phone calls. Have tried other family sims in new phone and there are no problems

Hey there @Zenshin, sorry to hear that.

As previously asked,

Have you upgraded your contract?

Which make and model are you using?

Have you tried resetting RCS messaging settings?

If still having issues, it may be worth getting a replacement SIM card to try. You can collect one from any Currys store during opening hours, and then activate to your contract here:

https://my.idmobile.co.uk/activate-sim-outside

Or, you can contact our live-chat to have one posted to you:

Thanks,

Tyler

Hi @Zenshin 👋🏻
Can you clarify if it is JUST phone calls or are texts and the use of the internet affected as well?
Where did you purchase the ‘new’ phone from?
You say that you ‘Have tried other family sims in new phone and there are no problems’, are these also iD SIMS or connected to other networks?
If the other SIMS are all connected to the same provider (not iD MObile) and it is only phone calls you can’t connect to then it may be down to the software on your new phone.
Please see this reply I gave to another customer that has the same problem…..

If your new phone isn’t a Samsung Galaxy then you will need to do research that covers Flashing Software for the handset make/model you have.
The only other option is to determine which network provider controls the software on your phone and change to them if the info in the post is too complicated that you do not wish to go through with it.

Hope this helps! x
