I pay by DD but get an email saying I have not payed

Basically the title says it all. I’ve been a customer for a few years now, and suddenly I get an email saying I haven’t paid my monthly bill. Nothing has changed at my end, the same bank, same account and money there ready to pay, so why the email?

Hello @Alison48,

Sadly the iD systems that their customers rely on working properly aren’t.

See here and here for announcements about problems with the iD customer facing systems.

Disappointing recent track record from iD, but hopefully lessons will be learned and things will get better.

We are very sorry for what has happened. We have experienced an issue with customers not able to log in along with billing demands being sent in error.
