i switched to ID mobile, when i send a message the original ID number appears not my transported number

I carried my number to ID mobile. My original number appears on the calls but when I send a message it appears as the ID mobiles number that they gave me when I bought it.

How can I fix this issue, please?

Okay @AliCengiz, a quick fix for this is to TURN OFF the “Chat features” option in the Google Messages app, and leave the option OFF.

Alternatively, you can try the following:

  1. Turn OFF RCS chats (“Chat features”) in the Google Messages app.
  2. Turn OFF the handset and carefully remove the iD SIM card.
  3. Check the iD SIM card is clean and undamaged, before re-inserting your iD SIM card.
  4. Turn ON the handset.
  5. Turn ON RCS chats.

FYI, this issue can occur if you use the iD SIM card in your handset on the network BEFORE the number you want to keep gets transferred to iD Mobile.

Google’s clever RCS servers register your handset as using the number iD allocated for your new connection, and don’t recognise when you switch your preferred number to iD Mobile.

Have you tried a NETWORK RESET on your phone @AliCengiz

This procedure will often fix the issue you’ve described.
Your handset user guide should explain how to perform a network reset.
