Hi everyone. So I bought my Id contract in April but only just ported the number over last week
I did put the sim in the phone once but did continue to use my old sim until that contact ended
I noticed last night that my iMessage wasn’t working then noticed the numbers in my number and also in my Apple ID under security and sign in, email and numbers was wrong and also under send and revive so I reset my network and this solved this issue and all numbers were then correct
but iMessage still wouldn’t work but what I did notice was under my Apple ID email and phone numbers it says unavailable for iMessage and Face ID then if I click on this it says something like no sim connected to number or something
I’ve since tried a new blank sim and still nothing.
I’ve restarted, reset double checked everything
this seems a very common problem with id mobile and luckily for them I’m last my 14 day cooling off due to my own fault
the email works fine with iMessage but I wanna use my number how hard can it be
anyone got any tips how to go forward with this, I can’t add my number back onto Apple due to having done it too many times today so got to wait till I can get a new code but when I do I’m hoping it’ll activate properly
