iphone not receiving calls or messages

I changed from Three to ID Mobile with the switch occurring yesterday, 19th March which also transferred my number with a PAC code. However, my phone cannot receive any calls (I can call out though) or receive any text messages or send text messages. I am able to send iMessages via my iCloud account but not my number.

I have worked through the processes noted for the iPhone in regards to not being able to receive calls/messages etc but it hasn’t sorted out the issue. Does this mean that my number hasn’t actually transferred as yet even though I’m being told the switch has completed? The email did come later than it was meant too but I’ve not received any text messages from ID Mobile confirming the switch or transfer on my phone so something definitely isn’t right. Hoping somebody here can help if not I will do a live chat in the morning.

Thank you

Hey there @philipwilson, sorry to hear that.

So to confirm, you can receive normal texts, but not OTP from certain businesses/apps?

And iMessage also isn’t activating, is that correct?

Have you tried restarting your phone and resetting network settings?

    Thanks,

    Tyler

    Hello

I am also having the same issues as the previous messages. This is Day#2 I have been trying to sort this out.

I have looked on the previous topics. Did all that has been recommended and nothing is working.

On WiFi I can use my apps and my new iPhone 16 Pro works great. The minute I leave WiFi nothing works. No connection, no calls or texts. I have missed an important call from a Consultant I have been waiting to speak to. My husband rang the number that was transferred to ID and said it didn’t ring and said a message said the number was not available and he left a message. I did not get a missed call or a voicemail that he left.

My number has 447, it has been transferred from 3 to ID. I received texts and emails saying it had been transferred and was active. It’s not. I have taken the physical SIM card out many times, restarted etc. the coverage is good in my area more 4G but also 5G. Moved the toggle to 4G didn’t do anything. I am at a loss and need my mobile to also verify my apps with my bank, credit cards etc.

    Please help,

Hey there @Reina2737, sorry to hear that.

What phone do you have please?

To clarify, is your phone number showing incorrectly?

    Thanks,

    Tyler

@Tyler C  the phone I have is an Apple iPhone 16 Pro. It is finally working! The toggle has to be switched on to allow both the ID number (it doesn’t display it) and my old number.
I tried the ID sim on my old iPhone 14 Pro Max and it worked perfectly. I checked everything on the old phone to see if I missed anything but all were ticked correctly. Hopefully it will continue to work outside WiFi.

Thank you for getting in touch.

Seriously? 5months from my previous response?
    sim was activated.

This is a known fault/issue with all involved which is not being addressed.
ID mobile, Three and Apple have issued carrier & iOS updates which still haven’t resolved the issue.

WiFi calling just doesn’t connect properly with caller….almost like it’s relying on poor quality signal conversations broken up each call….this is a ID mobile issue as it works fine with all other networks using the WiFi calling at work or home. Virgin, O2 etc.

WhatsApp is only way to make calls when at home or work that provides a coherent signal….i have to ring back everytime if call comes through over network.
