I have just had a message telling me that my phone number will be deleted in 24 days. Help
Generally, numbers are only removed from service when they’ve been unused for X amount of time. In my experience at least. Doesn’t gel with receiving a text message. Seems suspect.
Where did this text message come from? What are the precise contents of the message (minus your phone number if present. Probably isn’t best to leave that where it can be scraped into a database of spam/scam targets) 24 is a perculiar number. Unless there’s been countdown ‘uncounted’.
BTW, this (text messages) is easily spoofed by an unskilled threat actor.
