Is it possible for me to transfer my old ID number to the new ID sim I bought on Carphone warehouse

I have just purchased an new phone through carphone warehouse on an ID mobile sim deal for 24 months and I want to transfer my old ID number to this new ID sim I have just gotten but when I submit the PAC code it says that it is an invalid option. Is there anyway of me being able to transfer it to this new SIM as this would be more efficient than having to have a new number and go through a long process of changing all sorts of stuff?
