issue with text messages

I have a Samsung s20 fe and am having problems with text messages. Without going into too much   is one particular number which is receiving my messages but my sim card seems to be blocking any responses from that number. I have spoken to the recipient and gone through all the various settings on my phone but it still won't accept a.response. Any ideas how to resolve this?. I can't seem to find a number for technical help from ID

Is this another UK Mobile Number @Sparty69? If it is, your SIM won’t be the issue, it’ll be the phone - and I'd suggest contacting Samsung to troubleshoot.

If it’s not a UK Mobile Number, and instead a Premium Text service, your Bill Cap may be blocking it. Follow this guide to change it:

Hi Matthew, I managed to get chatting with someone and their initial advice was that the number was 'off plan' and that I had to increase my cap. I did that and it hasn't changed anything. It's not a premium rate number, just a regular Vodadone one. It has now been sent to their technical department to see if they can resolve it.  Thanks for your message.
