I've had so many issues since being with ID that I've left. Got new sim with another company and ID have still not cancelled my contract or given me my final bill. This has caused issues where i can't receive or send text messages or call anyone!

Please ID sort this out!

To end your agreement with iD Mobile, you need to give them at least 30 days’ notice as per the terms and conditions (or port out the number).

17.1 If you want to end your agreement, you must contact us through the 'Contact Us' section in our website at www.idmobile.co.uk/contactus and give us at least 30 days notice or alternatively you may log in to your account using the iD app and set a future disconnection request by selecting a date which is at least 30 days in to the future. If you prefer to contact iD Mobile via letter, please send this to iD Mobile, PO Box 686, Salford M5 0PA. You must include your full name, your billing address with post code, your iD mobile telephone number and the name of the bank your direct debit is with to help us locate your account. If you would like to give us notice beyond 30 days in to the future, you can contact us at www.idmobile.co.uk/contactus for more details. Whenever you have a No Fee Right to Exit you must exercise it within 30 days of it arising; if you do not notify us within this period, you will lose the right to terminate.

Hi there,  I've already ported out my number 2 days ago to a different company but as my contract isn't up with ID until May 2026 I was willing to pay the amount needed to get out of the contract. I'm thinking of cancelling my direct debit now.

If I'm right in understanding you, ID won't release me from the contract for another 30 days even though I'm buying myself out?

If you ported out the number, your iD Mobile plan should be closed, and a final bill will be generated, which will include an early termination fee.

If your iD Mobile plan is still active, then you need to speak to the network you ported the number over to and let them know that the porting process hasn’t completed correctly. Any issues that arise as a result of a number port are the responsibility of the gaining provider.

Hey there @AmethystUnicorn, if you’ve ported out, your contract would automatically end with us once the port-in completes, and your final bill/termination fee would automatically generate and be sent within 48-hours. Have you checked your iD Mobile account to see if this has now been generated and you’re disconnected?

Thanks,

Tyler

I still appear to be with ID and no generation of bill has been issued.

Hi @AmethystUnicorn,

Once the contract is disconnected the bill is processed after 24 hours.

If you haven’t received this and are unable to access the iD Mobile account we will PM you.
