My old iPhone is still locked to idmobile. How can I get this opened to allow me to add another sim?

Hi @sheenac282,

Welcome to the Community!

Which make and model handset do you have?

I would advise testing a different network SIM in the handset.

Hi sheena I do know that these days iphones are usually unlocked 1 way if finding out is go into settings then click on general then click on about & scroll down to network provider lock if it reads NO SIM RESTRICTIONS then your iPhone is unlocked so you won't need to get it unlocked just pop another sim in it ! But if by chance it is locked you should be able to speak to id mobile & they maybe able to help you but check to see if it's unlocked 1st ... hope this helps 😊

Thankyou for the information. It says SIM locked and ID provider is ID 50.0 so I think I will have to contact ID mobile.
