Lost Apple calling

I was able to text/send photos to Apple phones on a ‘blue’ tab.

Now when I try and do this the tab is ‘green’ and ID mobile tell me that I am not allowed to send photos via this medium without incurring a charge.

This is happening on contacts that previously were ‘blue’ and free and now aren’t.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong and how to correct it.

Have you checked that the people you’re trying to message are currenly connected to data/Wi-Fi, and also have iMessage still enabled?

 

Also, when you go into your settings, is iMessage activated?

 

Are you able to send iMessages to other numbers?

Thanks for getting in touch. 

 

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with using iMessage. 

Do you know if the person you are sending the message to also has iMessage enabled? 

 

If you have previously sent a message via text to a number you may need to convert the message to iMessage by holding down on the text you wish to send. 

Please also ensure you have a a good connection at the time of the message.

Thanks Natalie.

Both the people I am trying to i message I have done so before.

I have typed a message as a trial but when I try to hold down on the text all it does is make it bigger

Any other ideas?

Try deleting the message thread and starting a new one also.
