lost phone

I lost my phone and recently replaced it. I can’t log into my old id account but want to keep my old number! Any ideas how to do this?

Hi @Cherrysr

Yes, you’ll be able to keep a number with a replacement SIM card, you’ll be able to pick up a replacement SIM card via any Currys store or we can get in touch and assist in having one sent out.

You’ll then be able to activate the SIM card here.

Did you lose your SIM card at the same time, @Cherrysr?

Hi @Cherrysr,

Welcome to the Community!

You can report your handset and SIM lost via the app.

If you require a replacement SIM we can either send one out or you can collect one from Curry’s as this is the quicker method.

Please let us know and we can assist you further.

Hi,

Thanks for replying.

My SIM card was in my phone, I can’t get into my old account online or via the app!
if I get a replacement SIM, can I then transfer my old number to my new SIM?

Thanks

You should automatically keep your number with any replacement iD SIM card, @Cherrysr

Try contacting iD customer service using their online Live Chat service - advisers work until 8pm on weekdays.

The iD chatbot works 24/7 - just tell the bot you want to “talk to a person”.

Alternatively, other forum members have found sending a private message to iD support using Facebook Messenger very effective.
