LTE Network

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 with LTE, these are the steps that they say to follow to activate the LTE

To activate LTE on a Samsung Galaxy Watch 7, you'll need to pair the watch with a smartphone and then use the Galaxy Wearable app to activate the mobile network. The activation process usually involves scanning a QR code provided by your carrier or entering an activation code manually.

The problem is that I get this when I try to activate, the service is my previous provider(Three).

Can anyone advise to what to do next?

iD Mobile don’t offer smartwatch plans; none of the UK MVNOs do. You need to open your wallet and move to EE, Vodafone, Three or O2.

I managed to talk to someone at Customer services and the network doesn't allow me to connect a smartwatch with LTE.

Waste of money on my part for buying this watch with a feature that my network provider can't provide.

Hi  @Brigitta  as @WelshPaul  has explained, iD do not support watches or other devices I’m afraid.

Do you know if this is mentioned anywhere in the contract?

Thank you for your replies.

Why would it be mentioned in the terms and conditions of your contract? You signed up for a phone plan; your contract terms and conditions defines the terms of that said contract. If the terms and conditions mentioned everything that wasn’t included, it would be eternal!

When did you sign up? You have up to 30 days to cancel penalty-free.

I signed up on the 1st of April, so that would mean a cancellation penalty.

Thank you so much for you reply @WelshPaul!

Samsung do state on their site that in the UK you will also need to be on the EE or Vodafone mobile network to use the 4G connectivity - How to connect your Galaxy Watch to 4G mobile network | Samsung UK

Sorry about that @Brigitta

Can we help you with anything else?
