maintain number

I have ended my current contract but I want to maintain my number please. And I want to take a new contract.

Hi ​@Tarh 

Unless you have requested a PAC code from iD Mobile (before your account/current contract has closed/ended) then you will not be able to keep your current number.

If you are still within the contract timeframe then request a PAC code:-

Once you have this then you can do the following:-
 

1 - Get a PAC code. Text PAC to 65075. https://www.idmobile.co.uk/switch
This code is used to switch providers and terminate your existing iD Mobile service, whilst transferring your current number. The PAC will be sent to you via text message.
You can also do this online:-

  1. Open the iD Mobile app or log in to My Account Online:
  2. Navigate to your plan details:
  3. Find the option to leave iD Mobile or end your plan:
  4. Select the option to get a PAC code:
  5. Confirm your request


​​2 - Obtain a Pay As You Go (PAYG) SIM from any OTHER network.

3 - Give your PAC code to the new PAYG SIM provider to transfer from iD Mobile to the PAYG network.

4 - Once the PAC code has been redeemed by the new network on PAYG it cancels your old contract with iD Mobile automatically, your final bill will be sent via email.

5 - Once the PAC code has been redeemed to the PAYG network allow 24 hours and then request a PAC code from them.

6 - Transfer your new number to the new iD Mobile plan via PAC code at the link below, once the transfer is fully complete your PAYG SIM will be disconnected and the desired number will be on the new iD Mobile account.

Hey there ​@Tarh, as advised by ​@Decembersangel72, you cannot transfer your number between contracts on the same network. We’d recommend following the advice above if you wish to keep it, with a new plan with us.
