Used to receive texts from Portugal but no longer am able have a friend with the same issue this is recent

Thanks for getting back to me @Zetouk. Looks like there is a common issue with messages from the Portuguese Government affecting other networks in the UK since about April, perhaps this is also a problem for iD Mobile.

I’d recommend contacting the Portuguese Government first (through another contact channel), and if no luck, try our Live Chat team. If you do end up speaking to our Live Chat team, please specify the fact it is from the Portuguese Government.

Thanks for getting back.Unfortunatly still no luck.

Cannot receive any messages from Portugal can receive calls from Portugal.

Thanks @Zetouk.  Are they using the international code for your UK number (+44) to send the SMS? Are you sending standard text messages, or using a service such as iMessage (Blue Bubbles on iPhone) or WhatsApp. If not, I’d recommend using them.

Thanks for replying.Not using iPhone and using correct code for the UK.It used to work perfectly and the messages I am trying to receive are from the Portuguese government department.But I have a Portuguese number which I can send messages from but still no luck as well.
