mobile data settings: Off - Primary - Travel

I’ve just setting up my phone and I’m confused as to which setting I should use.  What exactly are primary and travel?  How do I use them?

Morning @Bluecheese,

Sounds like you’ve got multiple SIMs in your phone. The default names are Primary and Travel, but they don’t make a difference to how the SIM functions. If you don’t want multiple SIMs, please remove the old SIM from the phone.

Hi I have the same situation and only have the new ID sim in my phone. Primary line will not work. All numbers in my phone are saved as primary and so I have the change to travel to make a call

I’d recommend the above from @Matthew T, or we’d recommend speaking to Apple directly for support on swapping the labels for SIMs in your device.
