Moving from iPhone 7 to iPhone 11

I am on a monthly contract. I have managed to get hold of an iPhone 11. I have transferred everything over from my iPhone 7 to  iPhone 11, however I can’t receive or make calls? My iPhone 7 still seems to taking calls.

What am I doing wrong?
Do I need to register the new iPhone 11 with ID?
Who do I call?
I have esimmed across to the new phone. I also physically moved the SIM but it’s not working

Okay @Ruhail, to unlock a network locked handset, you need to contact the network operator that originally supplied the iPhone 11 device.

There might find a clue in the “Settings > General > About” option, by checking the “Network Provider Lock” value.

Okay @Ruhail, iD Mobile do not support eSIM transfers between handsets, nor is an iPhone 7 capable of using an eSIM plan.

All the iD Mobile help & support services are online - there isn’t a telephone support helpline.

Perhaps the iPhone 11 you’ve got is network locked, @Ruhail.

Hi @andewhite

Thanks for the response, that’s helpful.

It also makes sense, if it is network locked, what do i need to do?

Thanks

Ruhail
