I have come to the end of my 24 month contract and have now upgraded it to a SIM only deal as I don’t want a new phone.

Do i need to actually get a new SIM?

DO i need to get a pac code to keep my existing phone number?

or can I just do nothing and the monthly payment will just reduce automatically?

Does your iD online account, and the iD app, show your new SIM only plan, @AbiW

A PAC can only be used to transfer a mobile phone number between different mobile network operators.

If you’ve successfully upgraded your 24-month minimum term handset iD contract, to become SIM-only, your monthly payments reduce automatically.

Just to add to the advice above. No you don’t but iD will probably send a new one out. If one arrives in 48 hours you can use this one instead. You can activate it via the app or online portal.
