I always get an error when sending text messages. However, other person does get the messages.

Maybe Apple can explain why the phone in Settings > Apps > Phone can’t be changed,
As per the community article, a network reset can sometimes fix this issue - your iOS user guide explains all the reset procedures for your iPhone.

Unfortunately, its didn’t work. Its does not let me change the number on settings→ app→ phone but phone number is correct on apple id.

And reset network settings worked. Thanks
wonder why sim replacement and restart did not work. Some glitches i guess in the number swap as i did not have to do this when i last changed the sim.
