Need proof of purchase for Samsung headphones offer

I chatted with customer service about a week or 2 ago asking for proof of purchase, I was told it would receive it in 24 to 48 hours. I still don’t have it.

The offer will expire before I get the receipt the way this is going.

Did you contact them via a phone number or Live Chat?

If it was by phone, then I suggest that you contact them via Live Chat:-

Type ‘talk to a person’ in the dialogue box so that you don’t go round in circles with the chatbot.
Also, make sure you have time put aside to do this as the agents connect to several chats at any one time and so you may have to wait for the chat to connect and get replies.

Tell the agent that you do not want to close the chat until you have received the proof of purchase confirmation via email and ask them to send it to you ASAP. This information should be readily available to them and so you need to be assertive until you get it.

Also, when ending a live chat conversation, it gives the option to have the transcript sent to you via email and this will give you extra evidence, when requesting the Samsung headphones offer, to show that you have tried everything to get the information required but it was iD Mobile that was stopping you from getting it within the time limit.

Live chat. And as it stands live chat isn’t working. I’ve been trying for 2 days and nothing.

It seems the only way to get through now is to make a complaint.

I got it sorted by making a complaint, it seemed to be the only way to get someone to talk to me. I had been trying for a couple of days.
