new customer issues

my wife and I transferred our numbers from Vodafone and o2 to ID at the start of July and we are both still experiencing issues.  When my wife sends a text it says not delivered and message send failure but the recipient gets it three times?  we also both occasionally appear to others as the old number?  Also some people said that there was no answer when they called my transferred over number?

Turn both mobiles off and on a few times.

This will kick start the network to working properly again on your mobiles.

Hi there @SKMCKAY 

Are you both using iPhones?

If so, you may need to turn the phones off, take out the SIM’s, turn the phone on (without SIM, for 5 minutes). 

Then turn the phone back off, re-insert the SIM’s and turn back on.

This should get the phone to forget any wrong number and only have the correct number in memory.  You may be able to change the number manually in Settings > Profile > Name, Numbers, Emails…
