new pay monthly sim not working

I just got the iPhone 11 on a contract sim and it’s saying no sim when I put it in the phone I’ve did all the steps provided by you to try get it to work but it’s still saying no sim. What do I do from here

Have you purchased the iPhone 11 on a brand new contract with us or have you upgraded your existing contract?

Can you clarify as it’ll help us narrow down the cause of this.

Does the SIM work in any other phone?
