Got new iPhone on contract as a Christmas gift for my daughter so she won’t receive until Xmas day (3weeks away).
The phone and sim have both arrived and are stashed safely unopened 😬.
Do I need to do anything in the meantime? She’ll need to xfer the number over but I can’t request a PAC beforehand because then she’ll know.
whilst I appreciate it’ll take time to fully xfer over I’d like Xmas day to be as stress free as possible and tbf she’ll enjoy staring at her new phone regardless.
Also, are iPhones network locked?

The iPhone won’t be network locked
In addition, you can’t switch a number at the weekend, or on a Bank Holiday.
