new private email message

I received an email with subject line: You’ve just received a new private message on the iD Community 

 

It said: Thanks for registering with us….
Ive been with iD for quite a few years - why would I have got this?

Morning @Anne Fishman,

Seems like you may have received that email in error, looks like you’ve been a Community member since 2021. We did rebuild our ranks recently, which may have caused an email to be sent out in error. Nothing to worry about though!

@Matthew T Maybe you can assist me as well.

 

I have been an I.D customer for 8 years yet my community profile says 2021 but that's not the issue, Over the last few times I have upgraded my phone/ contract I have noticed that my community rank has been reset each time, I get reset to “civilian” each time, yet somehow now I am down to “rookie” and am unable to even post my own question hence why I am having to reply in another's post. Is there anything that can be done? I don't use the community forums much as I haven’t needed the help but now when I do finally need some assistance I cannot use the forums properly as my rank is preventing me.

@StuartW -

To address your points.

  1. Your Community Profile and when you joined iD are unrelated - so don’t worry about that!
  2. I took over the iD Community earlier this year, and currently working on refreshing the Roles & Badges, as they’ve not been touched for a while and are quite confusing! One example is ‘Rookie’ is a higher rank than ‘Civilian’. Doesn’t make sense to me, but the refresh will be announced soon!

I have been trying to do a post all day and it hasn't worked so I ended up calling the sales team, but using the link you provided @Matthew T it worked first time haha, mauve I should have asked you first lol
