New Sim Not Recognised - Nothing 2

Hi,

 

I've just purchased a phone through Carphone Warehouse, and joining ID Mobile. 

Popped my new SIM in the phone, and trying to activate it. However the device is not registering the SIM card. 

Tried to activate, but can't receive the text. 

I've tried in both SIM slots, followed the direction in the help topics to try and get this recognised, but to no avail. Don't have another compatible device (old phone is Nothing 1 - not listed under compatible handsets).

Tried restarting several times, airplane mode etc. 

Any help would be appreciated.

I would advise visiting the link HERE to activate your replacement SIM.

However it sounds like either your SIM or the handset is faulty if the SIM is not being read.
