Hmmmm I’m gonna have to swap back to a better network - not being able to make outgoing calls is fundamental to having a mobile phone, isn’t it??

    Hi @Boxclever1753,

I'm really sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your services since transferring your number. Please try the steps below:

    For iPhone:

    • Go to Settings
    • Tap Phone
    • Tap My Number
    • Delete the old number
    • Enter the new number
    • Tap Save

Then follow these steps to refresh iMessage:

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Tap Messages
    3. Turn iMessage OFF
    4. Go to Settings > General
    5. Tap Reset
    6. Choose Reset Network Settings
    7. Once your iPhone restarts, go back to Settings
    8. Tap Messages
    9. Turn iMessage ON again

Your iPhone should now recognise the new SIM and verify your number.

    Regards,

Still not working, even after reset and having to put my wifi password back in to get on my home internet.

This is dreadful, I have young children and a full on job and need to be able to make calls.

Is this it? I change back to a better network?

    Hi @Boxclever1753,

We're really sorry to hear that it's still not working, especially when you rely on your phone to stay in touch with your family and for work. We completely understand how frustrating this must be.

As the troubleshooting hasn't resolved the issue, we'd recommend contacting our Customer Service team via Live Chat. They can run further checks on your line and, if appropriate, arrange for a replacement SIM card to see if that resolves the problem.

We apologise again for the inconvenience and hope we can get this sorted for you as quickly as possible.

    Regards,
