Check the service status here for any issues in your area.

Hello @Elephanttrunk

Thank you for getting in touch with us here on the community.

We are very sorry to hear you are experiencing issues receiving calls.

Can you please check and confirm the following?

  • The Service Status page here
  • Have you recently ported a number in to iD Mobile?
  • What is the make/model of your handset?
  • Are all calls impacted or calls from certain numbers?
  • Is the data and text service working?

Thanks,

Nat

I am not getting all my calls. The phone does not ring but goes to voicemail. I also get cut off during calls. Getting to the point where I will have to change network/supplier. So frustrating  and scary as I live alone

Hey there @richard pendle, we’re sorry to hear that. What phone do you have and what’s your full postcode?

Is it only calls affected? Can you make calls?

Thanks,

Tyler

I have a Samsung a25. I am nr32 5ha. The phone is only a few months old. My old Samsung seems to have better reception.

Thanks @richard pendle

We can’t see any issues with coverage in that area right now, it should be great!#

Have you tried the SIM in your old handset and it works better? That may suggest it is an issue with the handset itself.

Is it only calls affected? Can you make calls?

Thanks,

I can make calls but they often cut out.

Thanks

Hi @richard pendle

Okay, how long have you had this issue?

Have you tried a network settings reset?

Settings > General management > Reset > Reset mobile network settings

Resetting network settings will NOT reset any personal data (Photos, Videos, Contacts etc) only network settings.

Tom

Thanks for your help. Yes I tried a reset. I think there is a consistency issue with the network as both phones vary in the numbers of bars throughout the day by a lot, even if they are used in the same place. My husbands older Samsung does seem to be better than my a25. Shame I didn't know this would be an issue when I bought it.

Hey there @richard pendle, sorry to hear that.

Would you be happy to try a replacement SIM card?

Thanks,

Tyler
