Not receiving OTP SMS after number transfer

Hi recently transferred my number to ID Mobile From EE. After the switch, I am not able to receive OTP SMS from banks, Amazon and even HMRC. I also have a problem where I cannot receive sms from certain numbers they get an error saying Can't send message with EE - error 0.

Is there any settings I need to change for this to be resolved, also how do I contact tech support?

I use a Pixel 6

Thanks

Try resetting your Network Settings.

You can try 'Live Chat' in iD app to communicate.

I used Facebook Messenger and got response in reasonable time but not as quick as live chat, though not all that easy to get a live chat.

There is no telephone support line with iD Mobile.

Hope you get it sorted.

There was a problem with OTP messages yesterday. It has been reported that it is fixed now. Thought they were only iDMobiles own OTP messages that were a problem though.

Thanks @MalcK , I have used live chat to contact customer support and they have escalated the issue with technical support. Any idea how will they respond to me?

Glad that you are making progress.

I've only ever used Messenger so don't know about live chat. From my experience of Messenger and comments from others, iD will get back to you promptly once they have an answer.

Would be better to chat with support staff on the phone, sad to say that's not iD's way.

Good luck.

Unfortunately @Mohammed53, you probably won’t hear back from iD tech support.

Like @MalcK, I’ve found contacting iD support through their social media pages, using Facebook Messenger or X (formerly Twitter), is the best way of getting tech support from iD.

🤞
