Not receiving text messages after porting over number

I ported over my number 6days ago. I can make and receive calls, but I’m unable to receive texts/ iMessages or use FaceTime. 
I’ve followed the instructions on the FAQ, I’ve contacted Apple support going over all the instructions regarding turning off iMessage FaceTime, rebooting then turning off and restarting. Also reset Network none of this has worked. Tried the chat app but robo chat going round in circles. This is so frustrating. There is nobody to talk to. Can anyone suggest something

Thank you to all those that took the time to reply. 
 

iPhone is now working and receiving texts/iMessage’s. Not sure why it’s sorted it’s self out after a week, I did reply to an email from ID when they stated porting was completed, stating the problems I was experiencing, maybe they did something, who knows.

When you go into phone settings, is your phone number showing, and showing correctly?

Hi Tyler,

it wasn’t at first and it wouldn’t allow me to change it, it just reverted back to the old number. However,  I did manage to change the number to the correct number 4 days after the porting. This still didn’t correct the problem.

Okay, in this case it may be best to try a replacement SIM card.
