Hi - I’ve read answers re no of rings before Voicemail activates & that with certain providers, including ID mobile it is a maximum of 30 seconds. So my question is WHY?
In 30 seconds my phone rings 3 times only. That is rarely enough for me (& judging from Community comments, lots of other people ) to register that the phone is ringing, remember where we left it and get to it in time. We are not all members of the younger generation. Sometimes we may leave the room and not take the phone with us. So again, as your customer, WHY can I not set the number of rings to my preferred length of time? I have been able to with other providers & other phones. Surely it is up to me as the phone user to set my preference?
Note: ID Mobile helpfully replied that the maximum is 30 seconds - with no explanation as to WHY it is this & why it cannot be changed.
