number swicthed over but number is coming up rather than my name when txting and calling people

Hi has anyone else had this problem? I switched my old number(from 3) to I'd when I got a new contract lately, it went without trouble other than this, every time I call or text someone it's coming up as my number rather than my name(contact saved with old number).

How do i sort it?

Okay @Jpedersen, this often happens if you use the iD SIM with your handset BEFORE the number you wanted to keep is transferred to iD Mobile. 

How you fix the issue depends on whether you’ve got an Android device or iPhone.
