overcharged bill

Hi

 

I've just checked and ID have overcharged me this month on my bill and added extra charges plus VAT.

I dont understand as I didn't go over my monthly allowance and it doesn't explain bill what I've been overcharged for.

 

Is this system error or way to make complaint, does anyone know where I can make complaint about this.

We are very sorry to hear your bill is higher than expected. 

 

Any additional charges should be outlined in each section on the invoice. 

Can you please double check there are no additional charges further down on the statement? 

 

Also, have you made any adjustments to your direct debit/payment date at all? This can cause a longer billing period which will increase the amount owed on the first invoice following the change. 

 

If not, please do let us know and we will be happy to look in to this further for you.

Hi 

 

Thank you for replying.

 

I don't think I have changed the date of direct debit but was having issue with my old bank and set up new bank details.

I checked bill again and this is not first bill and there been just some charges added plus VAT which was never added on any of my other bills just this month bill which I dont understand why.

My bills are higher. I am being charged for premium numbers which I never use.

What you received any texts/calls from premium numbers at all, if you haven't called or texted any?

 

If you wish to not be charged, please change your bill cap to £0.00 via the iD Mobile app/website.

My last bill had loads of them on, none of which I made. But I was getting around 6 texts around teatime every day from gambling sites. I am anti-gambling and have never gambled. They were very annoying but I didn’t know I was paying. I assumed they were.

Hey there ​@Jean Little, unfortunately, these are likely to be why you were charged.

 

Therefore, we’d recommend lowering your bill cap to an amount you’d be happy to spend, or lower to £0.00 to stop them altogether. If you ever need to use your bill cap, you can easily change it to use and then change back whenever you like.

 

We’d also recommend blocking these numbers etc.
