I was sent a text message yesterday with a PAC code that a didn't request. I went straight onto the chat option & after over an hour was told there had also been a request to change my email address. I was told the PAC would be cancelled & the request for email address ignored. Today I received a text informing me the new provider had made contact & I would have a hefty bill as I'm only a year into my contract. I've spent 3 hours this morning on the chat & the phone to Currys. I've been told I will lose my phone connection & advised to get a pay as you go! I've had the same number since my first phone & this has never happened before.
I've received an email from the CEO team - FSEcalations@currys.co.uk asking for details. I've spent 25 mins on the phone to Currys being passed around trying to find out if the email address is genuine.
Please can someone help?
