i paid my phone bill the day before a direct debit was meant to come out i paid the whole thing and it says that the payment was successful however i keep getting a notification from my bank saying that the direct debit has failed to come out how can i stop this?

If your direct debit is active and you make a manual payment close to the payment date, the direct debit may still attempt to complete, if you plan to make manual payments from now on, it may be worth cancelling the direct debit, or keep on the direct debit and avoid manual payments unless necessary.
