Phone not sending texts sound not working when mobile

Hi, I am a new customer to ID mobile and since I signed up I have had two issues. When I am mobile I am unable to hear any sound on videos or receieve audio notifications of texts or emails all works fine when I am on Wifi and the same issue with sending receiving texts, works fine on Wifi but not when mobile. Tried  taking sim out and putting back in again and tried switching phone on and off multiple times any help appreciated thanks Paul

1) Type "Hi"

2) Type your issue in brief

Hi @Chids, welcome to the community!

Is the phone not playing any sound at all? For example if you watch a video does anything come through? If so, you may have a faulty device. If the phone is less than 30-days old, a faulty exchange can be processed to swap the phone for a like for like model.

The text issue can happen after porting a number over to iD Mobile, and the number isn’t reflecting correctly in the phone settings.

Are you able to let us know if you’re using an iPhone or an android device?

Hi,

I am having the same problem my messages aren’t sending. I have turned phone on and off and rest network but still happening. How did you resolve yours please?

Hi Lauren,

All the sound functions work when I am on wifi but no sound functions work at all when I am on the network.

 

I am using an iphone

@Alice Deans @Chids,

It very strange that notifications only work when on Wi-Fi.

Have you tested the SIM in a different handset?

I would advise contacting our Live Chat Team if you still have issues.
