I have just upgraded to a pixel 8 and I'm barely able to hold a call on it, it keeps cutting out and people can barely hear me. Trying to get hold of someone at iD and the live chat button won't load, I feel conned

Sounds like a potential issue with the Google Pixel 8 handset itself. It might be worth getting it exchanged. You can do this through our Live Chat team or in your local Currys store.
