Poor data and calls in sw Cornwall

I have been an id customer for a few years, but lately I have been gradually suffering from no 4g mobile data and broken voice calls around the Mount's Bay area where I live and work. In Penzance, Newlyn and Mousehole I cannot get 4g and I have to turn it off and go back to 3g or H+ to get data when the exclamation mark shows on my signal bars icon.

My calls are also generally poor.

I also get 4g data in Falmouth, but it's slow when compared to the 3g in Penzance.

I had an old motorola phone when I started getting problems, so I've bought a new 5g one and it's no better, in fact I'd almost say it's worse.

I have a friend on 3 network with a Samsung, and she struggles with broken calls and data issues too, while in Falmouth, so this isn't phone related.

If this continues, I will have to leave the network and take my mum and daughter too. Can anything be done please?

Hi @Cheesysmate, if you’ve been experiencing coverage issues for a significant amount of time in the same place, this may point to a low coverage area, especially if your friend is having an issue with 3UK as we share the same signal.

If this is more recent (within the last few months or less), this would point to an outage, network upgrades or network congestion. More information on this can be found via the coverage checkers below:

Check your network coverage | Support | Three

If you would like us to check this in more detail, just let us know and we’d be happy to send you a PM to investigate further.
