Hi , is anyone else in Belfast having poor signal . I live in BT8 and have maximum 1 bar and often no service. When I checked the ID signal checker it says that I should have excellent service but I don’t. I can get full service on a second phone same address using a different network provider. I am going to change from ID
Hi @Ross Edwards sorry to hear that the data coverage isn’t great for you. There is, at times, heavy usage in this local area. As a result, you may experience varying data speeds depending on how many customers are connecting to our network via your closest mast.
We’re always working to improve our network and aim to provide the best experience possible.
A reboot will refresh your connection to the mast and should improve coverage for you.

Like its been 7 months now ive tried everything.
Ive been emailing and messaging about this from.April!!!
Why is there 0 attwmpt at resolution just absolutely ridiculous questions like have a i updated or reset my phone on the past 7 months..... the issue is with the service mot the phone ive 2 contracts both have the same problem from February completely different phones
I dont understand how my issue can be i cant make or receive calls in large parts of belfsst and after you decide to call me. I csnt take the call. When I hit accept it just tries to connect
Like is checking anything about the problem thats going on.
If im told to try restarting my phone one more time its going in the toilet lol
I am also experiencing the same issues as Ross, in fact, not able to receive a call at all. I have tried im Belfast and in a town and neither times has it shown anyone ringing me when I tested with my girlfriend. This is a regional issue, not a user issue. Please focus on resolving this issue for us users as we are left in the dark for calls, which in this era cannot be allowed. Otherwise, will be reviewing and cancelling my contract

When is this being fixed
It's been like this for months
1 bar signal can't call anymore
The '4g' < 2mbps and completely unusable.
Bt15 most of belfast seems to be like this. Its a major city of UK and only city here.
Why is this not a priority?

It's been like this from about February March
I can't ring anyone in my house or outside my house
If I walk 500m away it's fine
Ridiculous it's belfast can you sort the issue.
It seems you've far too little bandwidth.
I get 2-3mbs of Internet thatsb4g????

There was a storm months ago youve still not got service fixed in belfast.

Its been about 5 months.... you think ive not restarted my phone
This needs resolved in belfast ASAP.
Its 2025 I cant make phone calls it connects and no one can hear me because the signal os so poor.
The 4g is 2mbps far slower than any 3g ive ever had.
We need a refund here this is beyond ridiculous.
I need to get another sim. And this needs ro be covered by ID you cannot provide a contractual service and fail to meet any standards here.
Ive called multiple times same spiel restart your phone there was a 3g switch off...nothing we can do.
I bought the phone through ID directly.
Its always 1 or 2 bars anywhere in belfast and the signal os always terrible since february.... atleast.

I had chased for this for weeks and they have done.
They tried ringing me 2 times once on friday and I cant answer calls as ive advised. That is the problem
Once on Saturday and I cant answer the call
Then they closed the ticket as resolved!
Can you escalate this immediately to someone who can actually check or test in the area please
