Poor reception

Hello,

Recently (over about 1/2 weeks) I've noticed that my mobile reception in my flat is worse than it used to be. Currently I usually have the "emergency calls only" message at the top of my phone which never used to be the case. I didn't think much of it to begin with as I assumed there may have been work going on but it still hasn't resolved.

I expect to see a lot more posts like this over the coming months. Three are preparing to shutdown their 3G network, and so a lot of work needs to be done on existing masts to improve 4G and 5g services over the coming months.

However, I'm not saying that the above is the reason for your reduced service @Jack O'Brien, it could be a local area fault.

Check the mobile network for service disruptions in your area - Network Status Checker (by three - iD Mobile's network partner).
