Hello @Ovie Uzuazebe
Thanks for getting back in touch.
I will add all your points to this post to ensure we cover them all 🙂
- I have initially ported my number when I first jointed in Dec 2024 and I will like to port it again.
This is not a problem, if you wish to port a number to another provider we can arrange a PAC to be generated. To get a PAC, text the word PAC to 65075
- I would want to change/port my number to a new number that I have. I have the pac code.
If you wish to port a number to iD Mobile, you would need to submit the request here.
- Your system doesn't allow me to do it as its asking me for transaction number. Note, I have used the transaction number that was initially provided and I can’t find that same number
If you are unsure of your transaction number, we will pop you over a private message to provide this. Please check your inbox.
- I raised my concern in this community and you came back to me after days when I have tried to chat with your colleague online.
We apologise for any delays with getting back to you here on the community. Unfortunately, response times can vary based on the volume of queries we have at the time.
- I provided the pac code to you on chat and I requested the porting to take place on the 26 Feb. I was told there will be a £25 charge which i feel is obviously high which will be added to mine next bill.
There is no charge for porting a number over to iD Mobile. A charge of £25 would only be applied if you have requested a new number. We can check this via private message for you.
- I am a bit concern as the person I chatted to seems not to fully understand what I was requesting and the person said they will be a confirmation email/sms but nothing has come which raise more of my concerns.
We understand your concern and will review this point in our private message chat.
- so can an email/sms be sent if this has been actioned if not how can I address this?
When a port is completed, we would send a text message to confirm. We will need to double check if this has been booked in for you.
- Also, would it be possible after the porting I turn my current number to pay as you go with your network or to port the number to another network?
If you are referring to the number that will be replaced when the port completes, this will be deactivated so we will not be able to switch this to a Pay As You Go.
Please check your inbox for a message for us to look in to this further for you.
Thanks,
Nat
