Problem adding extra plan

I have an existing plan for one of my daughters and have recently taken out another one for my other daughter. I received the new phone number in the welcome email, went to add the new plan to my account in the app and it needs a confirmation code sent to the new number. Problem is that the new SIM is faulty, all phones I try it in report ‘invalid SIM’ and I was advised by customer service to get a replacement SIM, which I have done. My question is how do I add the new replacement number so that it links up to the plan it is intended for? It would be fine if I could just activate the new SIM within the plan but I can’t because I have no way of creating that plan in the first place without the confirmation code that I have no way of accessing because the original SIM doesn’t work. I feel like I am going round in circles with this!

Hi thanks for the reply, the issue isn’t so much activating the SIM but rather associating it with the correct plan. If I could access the plan from the app or website and then activate it from within there that would work, but if I activate it without getting into the right plan the number will become associated with my other daughter’s plan. The only way I can see to add the new plan is by entering the phone number originally provided, which is then sent a confirmation code. But that SIM is dead and so I cannot get the confirmation code and can’t go any further with it. I’m not sure if I’m explaining this clearly or not!
