Problem with connecting to Tv with mobile hotspot

My phone (iphone13promax) will connect to my girlfriends tv via mobile hotspot completely fine and have no issues. When my girlfriends tries with her phone (iphone15plus) it will show her phone on the connection list but never connect. I’ve gone into her settings and made sure they all match mine in id app and system settings on the phone but it still will not work. Any help will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

I had the same issue and reached out to Customer Service on Live Chat. We tried many options including reseting the mobile network and tethering via bluetooth. The agent requested that I go to the nearest Currys shop for help.

Not giving up, I started fiddling with the settings. I changed my security settings from WPA3-Personal to WPA2/WPA3-Personal on my Google Pixel 8 phone. Now I’ve been able to tether from my ID mobile phone to my laptop. Hope this works for others with the same issue.

I’d advise a NETWORK SETTINGS RESET on your girlfriend's iPhone 15 Plus. Let me know how you get on.
