Refund Duplicate Payment


I have two pending transactions to ID after accidentally submitting request twice. I would like to cancel one of them and the bank have told me I need a 6 digit authorisation code from the Merchant. How can I contact ID to obtain this?

Welcome to the Community!

We can’t process a refund if the payment is pending as it hasn’t been completed with your bank.

Once the payment is showing as completed and no longer pending please let us know.

Just to advise some pending payments bounce back to bank accounts after 5 working days.

I made a payment due to my bill not being taken because it was bank holiday Monday and they are trying to take my bill again. Which is the direct debit and the payment I made

Hi @Alfie field 

 

If a direct debit would be scheduled to happen on a weekend/bank holiday, it may happen a little later as direct debits wouldn’t be taken on those days.

 

We’d recommend allowing the direct debit to happen and keeping an eye out for texts that would tell you if a payment failed before manually paying.
