Replacement SIM

Hi, I could not connect to wi-fi or make phone calls except home and work. The replacement SIMis not better. Who do I need to contact and how?

Hey there ​@laszie, sorry to hear that. When you say Wi-Fi, do you mean your home Wi-FI? If so, you’d need to contact your Wi-FI provider for any Wi-Fi related issues.

 

Or do you mean network signal you cannot connect to?

Hi,

 

As I mentioned, I can connect at home and at work but not on the street. Does anyone know who to contact to get back to normal?

So when you’re not at home or at work, you have no signal, calls, texts and data won’t work, is that correct ​@laszie?

 

If so, please provide the full postcode(s) you’re having these issues in?

 

Also, what phone do you have?

WR1,WR2, Wrexham, Birmingham. I mean everywhere. Samsung S21.

When calls and data aren’t working, do you have any bars of signal at all, or none?

I don't know how to say this: absolutely nowhere, or so to speak: at all UK postcodes. As soon as I left my flat, the phone doesn't work. It's not about postcodes, it is about the proximity to a router.

How long have you had this issue for, and have you contacted us previously regarding this?

 

Have you ever been able to make calls, use texts or use data whilst outside your home and work previously?

The problems started a week ago, I got a replacement SIM on Sunday. Previously I had a perfectly functioning phone. This is the first time I am contacting you.

I am at work, hence the long communication breakdowns. No, I  haven't. Can you please explain me how to reset the network settings.

Hey there ​@laszie, not a problem at all, we’re here when you need us. Please try resetting network settings:

 

For Samsung; 

 

Settings > General management > Reset > Reset mobile network settings

Resetting network settings will NOT reset any personal data (Photos, Videos, Contacts etc) only network settings.

No, reset doesn't help. When I am trying to call it says not registered on network. What can I do with this?

Yes, I  said at the beginning that I had a replacement card yesterday. How much does it cost the cheapest smartphone on contract?

I want to stick with my old plan, but buy the cheapest smartphone you have on a 2 years contract.
