Replacement sim card as old and out of date with errors


Why the bloody hell can you not simply click on order a replacement sim card and have done with it. People have busy lives and whenever getting online Online Chat agents is not available!

 

Also I cannot get out easy to find a Curry's store. Wouldn't it just be simple and less infuriating for ID Customers to have a hassle free service and experience than to cause inconvenience and annoyance to all.

 

For 2 weeks now I'm unable to make international calls to my husband I cannot get through on Online Chat and it's not snowing today but my child is sick so cannot take her out to wait for a bus in minus degrees weather and go find a Curry's store. This is why ID is loosing so much buisness.  It's easier to leave and give business to elsewhere!

Does the replacement SIM request not work via the iD app or online account?

 

Using either, you go to Plan and then SIM & phone management, then click/tap on Request a replacement SIM.

 

Also regarding the international calls, or lack of being able to call your husband.You could try toggling the international toggle off, wait 10 mins and then toggle it back on, wait 1 hour and then see if it works. Checking your billing cap might also be worth a go. It may be the case that this is inhibiting further charges to your account

Yes I've tried all that you have said numerous times also fiddled around with my phone settings to no avail.

 

It worked fine until early last week then no joy since and going round and round with ID bulls*hit basically is just annoying!

Honestly Gillian I totally understand what you’re saying.

 

The only ways that I know of to obtain a replacement SIM are the options you already know of - Currys but like you’ve said this isn’t doable - via the app which can’t be working - or via live chat.

 

So with live chat in mind I can only suggest you try them again, but after filling out the details required type talk to person as this should bypass their automated chat bot.

 

The only other option is to wait for a member of staff on here to intervene.

Firstly, what happens when you try the live-chat, and why won’t it work please?

 

If you’re having issues with the live-chat, we’re also contactable via Facebook and Twitter, and can post out a new SIM card from there, if you cannot access live-chat or visit a Currys store.

 

Or, we can send you a PM here if you’d prefer, however, response times will be generally slower than our social media or live-chat.
