roaming charges

I have just returned from Morocco & am annoyed to see charges have been added to my bill. I know it’s on-EU and so would need to switch off roaming to avoid costs. 
As soon as we landed I did this- at the airport. I didn’t make any calls/send messages/use internet prior to this. So for the few minutes my phone was switching on & I was turning off roaming, I have been charged around £26! 
This is unfair and ridiculous but there’s nobody to contact to dispute this!

Help!

    Hey there ​@Humphse, roaming in Morocco would be chargeable for all calls, texts and data used. We would advise to turn off roaming before going to a non-inclusive country or set your bill cap to £0.00 to stop any out of contract charges from occurring. If you connected to the network in Morocco, then you’d have been charged accordingly I’m afraid.

     

    For future referece, please turn off roaming and change your bill cap before going abroad if you wish to not be charged or use the services there.
